Just thought I'd introduce myself... My name is Jonathan Baer (Most people just call me Baer) I'm 19 years old, and I'm currently going to Arizona Western College. But the main reason I'm on this forum is because of my boat I just alomst finished restoring.... Its a 18.5Ft 1968 wriedt flat bottom v-drive with a 1964 Ford 427 Fe in it. By restoring I mean everything.... I stripped the whole boat out, rebuilt the engine( bored .040 over, keith black hyperutectic pistons, comp cams cam, hi-pro valves .ect), painted it, then put it all back together. Well thats most of it, you will probably hear more as time goes by but thats it for now.... also I'm having a problem with cooling and was hoping you gus could check out my next thread in other mechanical systems... thanks guys

welcome to the site. Sounds like a cool project you have there. I'm sure the folks on this site will be able to help you figure out just about anything you'll want to know about your boat.

Wreidt boats were built by Jerry Wreidt. His v-drive was a splash of a Kindsvater. Cool boats and a really nice man. He built O/B's and Jets also. I think he was outta the Fresno area if I remember Wreidt..haha.

Nice first boat for a young man...now go clean the bottom out..
