That is going to be tough.
There are so many variables. I am thinking you are talking about the Lavey flatbottom. That will help, but really it is a deal between the back of the strut and the back of the v-drive shaft. Very few boats are close enough that they can interchange shafts. (Of any maker.)
Boyd could give you a real close estimate as he sees quite a few laveys. But the best way to do it is to measure from the back of the strut to the back of the v-drive shaft and tell whomever you are buying the shaft from those dimmensions. Also a good idea to get it just a little longer as it is easy to take off some, but really crappy to try and add some to it. You want a prop to sit on the shaft nice and tight and have enough room between the prop and the strut to get a prop puller between them when everything is tight up at the v-drive.
Did I just confuse you more?

Very simple, measure from the back of the tube of the strut to the shaft on the v-drive, they will allow for the taper!..

What happened to the one it came with? Was it bent or just didn`t have one when you got it.
