This was only on the previous Ver for a couple of days before The reconfigure, So I will do it again.

I Just Picked up a '79 Cheyenne Day Cruiser v-drive, 454 Casale Box and powerglide.

The Good: Complete, Solid Hull, runs Strong, Seating for 6+, double Axle Trailer.

The Bad: Converter in trans (buying a direct drive coupler as we speak),
Uphostery was worn pretty badly ( All the seats are in the Shop as we speak),
That cool 70's Tan and brown Gel that was cleared over and checking off (Sanding the clear off and prepping for paint,About 8-10 hours into it so far)

Grew up with flatbottoms. Dad had a Really pretty Maroon and Orange Steven's When we were little, 318 With dual Quads, Sold that and his CZ650 Dirt bike to put the down on Their first House.
When We were Teenagers. He brought Home a FE Powered Sanger That we used until about 96 or 97 when My Brothers and I all had little one's And the boat was sitting for almost 3 years with no water time on it.
When The wife and I started looking at boats I had one Stipulation "Must Be A V-drive" She said fine Her Criteria was it must fit all of us + some.
So we looked into the ski/Wake board boats and I really didn't want to drop $50 G's on a boat. So I Started lurking here and found the day Cruiser style boats to our liking.

Glad to be here and hope to learn a ton and maybe share some of The Hot rodding Info I Have stored in my brain housing group.

Cheers

Have you tried it with the convertor? I've found that I prefer the driveability better with a convertor. Among other things, it takes the bounciness out of a foot throttle JMHO
