~New to real boats~

Hi there
Been into to street cars all my life but have always kept a eye on the drag style boat thing.
Now iv decided to do something about it so I got a project from a friend today (probably a mid life thing :rolleyes:).
It’s a 73 Sanger bubble deck ex roundy round racer. Looks to have always been set up for that.
The plan will probably be to put it back as close as possible to original (except for paint).
Anyways that’s all I got for now (sorry no pics yet) I think you guys have seen it anyways.
I apologize in advance for the stupid questions I will no doubt be asking ;).
A shot of my driveway will have to do for now.

Welcome, those are some nice cars. If you take as much care building the boat as you are with the cars is will be one heck of a nice piece.

Art you've seen it....LOL..Welcome aboard Greg. I picked up a '72 Hondo Runner Bottom and it is a lot farther along than the Sanger so even though I wanted to keep both I decided to just concentrate on one boat project at a time. Greg wanted a boat and it seemed like a good fit he's more than capable of turning out a first class ride he just needs a little direction...;)

Welcome Greg, I have also seen that boat in a past thread. Look's like a nice boat to bring back to life, Hate seeing them just going to waste and a good thing we have people like you to bring em' back up to par.:)

The Chevelle went to a new home,I've been moving out inventory,and I'm down to 3 projects well actually 4...LOL I'll post some pics of the Hondo it seems to be a prototype runner (3/8 with a straight plate)...:confused:

I basically followed this same path last year, and we're having a frikin ball with our Stevens this summer. I've towed mine behind my Kustom to cruises a few times and the crowd digs it!
