I'm looking for a good used 3 dog whirlaway for a 12* casale v-drive or a good deal on a new unit, anybody have a spare or suggestions? My buddy is running a blown 472" bbc in a nice litchfield boat that runs around 125mph on the river with no whirlaway so i told him i'd inquire here on his behalf. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. sic syndicate

You may have a hard time finding a used unit as they are not removed very often. As far as new goes, both J.J. and Dan Aaseth can get you a prop release for around six hundred bucks. J.J. makes his own units while Dan sells casale parts. Tom Bentley also sells a prop release, but I have no idea how much he gets for his.

Joe does too. I have never used Joe, but have heard a lot of good things about him. I just remembered those guys as I have dealt with each of them before.

Hi guys, thanks for all the responses, i will pass all the info on to my buddy and he can run with it from there. I will also retain this in my archive as well. You guys are awesome!:D

Better tell your buddy to park it until he puts a whirlaway in it!..:eek:
