Hi, found a new place to play! Doug here, Have 2 V-Drives boats! My first is a Cole Hydro Dragboat, Detailed in my sig, the other is an old SS boat called Chargin Charlie pick up form Al LaPoint a couple month's ago. Needs work this winter but should have it going next summer again! Anyway thanks for the site!

Nice looking piece. If the other boat looks anything like that you will have one heck of a pair.

Thats a great little boat. You should be running it with the nostalgia group out of Spokane. I believe the boat was small block powered, there are a couple of smallblock boats with the group. I hope to see it out soon.

Nice boat, hope you don't regret admitting that you drive a hydro. Sadly, I've been the object of a lot of rather rude comments about hydros having training wheels and other short comings from the flat driver residents here.:rolleyes: Hopefully they will give you a break, being a nubie. Not to worry though, they are all great people. I'm guessing they are just a tad jealous of the speed difference between flats and hydros.:D

Saw a bunch of hydros get beat this last weekend at the CDBA drags.:D, Flattie, Hydro, i love em' all.:)

I'm not feeling any love here...:D Must have been bracket racing with hydros getting whipped by flats. Very hard to stop a hydro to not break out. Back in the day I don't think UGFs would have fared too well against UGHs.:eek:

Well I don't know, remember the old NJBA 115-125 bracket used to see quite a few close races between a flat and hydro, kinda went both ways sometimes!..
