I got this oil pan from a guy on the other site. He said it was out of a drag boat from the mid 80's. I thought it was pretty cool since it has so many trap doors. It's for a Mopar with the external oil set-up. I am trying to figure out the capacity of the pan. The picture show's 7 quarts in it, that would make the oil to the top of the baffles. What do you guys think? Too much, Too little?
Thanks

With the deep skirt of a b/rb as long as your not putting a 4.50 arm in it and run a windage tray. I think you'd be fine with it at 7 qt. If, you keep the r,s below 7000.

Measure the crank at it's lowest spot and make sure the level is below that, at high RPM's the level is lower in the pan, but at lower rpm's is when it could get areated if the crank touches the oil!..

Did you consider the filter? Cooler? Hoses? OK!

It looks like I will go with 7 quarts + 1 quart for filter and lines.
Thanks
