I didn't realize that they were still produced in 70!
I know that there are at least 2 older ones in Riverside. A 63 and 65, both with SBC's

I thought so with those white pillons, is it in the main parking by the gas pump, its not by the bathroom in less its backwards, but the stearing wheel is on the rite side.

Yep, it's in the parking lot, but you need to put your glasses on the steering is NOT on the right side!..:D:D

I have a dual quad 440 that I would love to find something like that for. Those were cool boats, kinda big, kinda round, and tuff as hell.

Buena Vista!..:D
I think you're right Art. Because Buena Vista was closer to our shop then Ming, we would go there to make test runs in the Winter with our hydro (wouldn't be a soul out there). Had the Sheriffs stop by a couple of times after they spotted our rooster tail. They would just watch until we were done.

Nope, who was Diane? When we went out with the hydro in the middle of winter there was no one there but us, seagulls, and the Sheriffs.:D I never skied there, but I did go to Buena Vista a few years ago in the Summer. Went out to help my old partner test a ski boat he had worked on. Couldn't get on the lake, I guess when they get to a certain boat count and that's it. They had also had made one of the lakes only for jet skis.
I've been to a host of lakes and rivers looking for that "best" place. The Kings River turned out to be my favorite spot (up until about 92). I have relatives that live by the Sacramento delta, so go there or Clear Lake sometimes for vacations.
Might make a good thread to poll everyone on their favorite places to boat.

She was one of the Sheriffs and a real hard ass too, nobody liked her but if you could get on her good side she was really cool, took me a while to figure it out but all you had to do is play her game and everything was cool, she let me get away with a lot of $hit, but I didn't do anything stupid either that may have helped,LOL..:D

Was she the big -at one? we used to call her pinky cause she reminded us of a -ig. She was a ball buster but like you say if you got on her good side she was ok. You just had to pretend you knew what you were doing, and keep a distance from all the other knuckle heads out there. Was a great place.

Our group started calling her pink cause she was either always sunburned a little or red in the face cause she was always yelling at some one. Don't know who started it(wasn't me:p). But it stuck.
Art you live in Mesa? my inlaws live at Greenfield and Gaudalupe.

Short memories! "Bun Head!" That's what all of us called her. Blond, "not thin" and "not friendly". She stopped me one day in one of my 12' 2" boats. "What size is the boat?!?" "Is it over 10 and 1/2 feet?" "It's 12' 2" !" "Let ME see the registration" "Sure". "How did you know about the 2"?" "Because I designed and built it". "OK, well go in the normal traffic pattern and watch your speeds!" HA HA! "BUNHEAD!"

Yeah, they were strict on length for some reason, and she wasn't friendly all business, but she was cool if you played her game!. Never heard her called "bunhead" that's funny, everybody always called her "bitch",LOL...
