What's happenin' party people? I'm new to the site and bought my first Flatty. All the registration and pinks state a '65 Sanger. The hull number is currently painted over, but again the paperwork gives one. The hull number is BCF7004CW. It says 17ft but I measured 17'9". Not sure if that is correct. I will add photos soon. Any information would be great.

Thanks,
Kevin

I'm looking at an NADA book and : Sanger is SAN, BCP is Brendella, and BCF = unlisted. For what it's worth!

They weren't mandatory till 72, but some MFG's did put a number somewhere, usually it's the number of the hull that came out of the mold!..

This is what comes up when I did a search on the HIN# on the Coast Guard Site. Give them a call maybe they can tell you something.

MIC Database Search Results

MIC Company Address City State
BCF BOICOURT MARINE PO BOX 667 TOLEDO WA

according to the site this is the Manafacture of your boat.

Thanks all,

I will go to the coast gaurd site. It looks like just about every other mid 60's flatbottom. It needs some work for sure. I will attach photos as soon as I can.

If your looking for the serial number on that Sanger look inside the transom above the rudder area. The serial number was written or burnt into the wood before it was glassed over. The last 2 digits will be the year. I have owned 3 different Sanger's 65, 67, 69 and that is where they all were. If it has been painted over you will have to sand the paint off to see it. I don't think you will find boat HIN's prior to 1973 on the coast guard site
Hope this helps. :)

I think that maybe that is the registration number--CF 7004 CW--not the hull number.
