Well, after a week and a half of sanding parts..it's almost ready to ship. Man, what a PITA!
Here is a pic of the pile ready to go. And a pic of what is left to sand.

Now that I have spent all the time "making" all the parts and assembling them... I just can't get myself to take it all apart to do the polish theme... : (

Well.... It's back together Thanks for your help there..!
After seeing the action out there at the Irine Run I want to take a few more precautions, and make some changes before taking out again.
Will try to post some pics to my gallery...
One thing I noticed were a lot of boats exhausting the engine water out the side of the boat..? Is there an avantage to this over the back end..?

They can see the water coming out without looking backwards, plus if it's showing too hot they can test it pretty easily...ouch!

Man...I am nervous. The parts are FINALLY boxed up. I will ship them tomorrow. This must be how a new bride feels.
I now have to trust my 4 months of machine work to guys who don't give much of a damn about my boat. (shipper) Then the guys that coat the parts. (hope they don't lose one in the process) Then the guys that don't give a damn again.
I'd just fly them out there and hand deliver them, but the airlines would charge me a ton for the extra baggage. Anyone want to go babysit my stuff?? (kidding for the most part)

Whew...parts are finally scanned in CA. I have checked so many times I almost have the 3 tracking numbers memorized. They have said west Jesus, KS for the last 4 days. I was starting to feel worse.
Good news is I went to the drag boat race yesterday (qualifying). Boat races are the same everywhere, always I think. A man could miss 10 years, go back with a boat and it would be the same. I guess that may be good. It is funny.
I went the wrong day apparently. Today in first round of PE, one boat got run over on the starting line, the starter (guy) got caught by the rope when someones rope deflector didn't, and it tossed him in the water. My best boat racing buddy was the guy getting run over. He then went out and cut a stellar .6?? (who cares) light AND WON the round.
Funny stuff.
