Well, I missed out on Terrible T's Kinslers :( but my 80A-1 pump and 3 way shutoff got here today so i'm moving in the right direction. Instead of just thinking about Alcohol, i've decided to move toward it. same price as the 116 i use so why not? I just need to pick up a FI and make the mechanical change. The patch in my gelcoat turned out fabulous. I sanded it down and filled it again yesterday and sanded it down today with 200, 600, 1000, 1500 and 2000 then buffed it out with rubbing compound and waxed it.

Well you have a few options, you can go with the stacks or you could go with a hat. Both would work well and if you already have a nice tunnel ram you could just put a hat on top of it. It has worked for us and many others.

Yeah, I'm probably going to go with a hat even though I love the look of the Kinsler/Crower because I eventually would like to go Blown. I already have a tunnel ram but its a Weiand and doesn't lend itself well to the enderle hat. I'll keep my eyes pealed and will run across one sooner or later. Next is a pump drive for a BBC.

The Victor Ram 2 is the manifold you want for a hat, and if you want more driveability for a lake boat, the Hilborn 4 holer is excellent and one better is the old Crower 8 holer, then later you can always put it on a blower!...

Either the Victor 2 or the one by Holly will work well with the hat then I can just change the hat plumbing for future blown. The Darts are nice but bucks up.

The Holley don't work nowhere close to the Victor, the Dart is similar to the Victor but is pricey and they are not out of the box ready, they are made rough so they can be taylored to specific applications, the Victor is the way to go for a hat!...

How do those old Hilborn 4 and 8 holers go for part throttle response Art? I had a hat/tunnel ram deal on a BBF drag car years ago, worked fantastically well at wide-open throttle. Had a throttle response like a shotgun blast...anything other than wide open tho, forget it.

They work great from idle to WOT, it's just that they are not as touchy as a bird because of the smaller throttle bores, that is the only difference and it is easier on a lake boat for pulling skiers and kids on the tube, other than that it's no different than any other hat, and they all work from idle to WOT!..

Yeah, I wondered if the smaller throttle bore would make them more "driveable".
The hat set-up we had was thrown together out of spare parts and never flowed properly.... coulda been half the problem ;)

Shit that's all I ever do can't afford the luxury stuff, LOL, just picked up an old Crower 8 holer and I have a Victor, now I have to go through the junk pile and dig up some nozzles and pill holders and crap and put it all together, it's crude right now and I have to get it re annodized and get the shafts bushed, should be a cool deal when done though!..

Well thats what I thought it looked like. How come you don't see more of them if they are more driveable?? This is going in the GN right?

I've always wondered that, maybe looks who knows??.. It's going on the tunnelram first who knows what after that,LOL, right now I don't have anything to put it in anyways, I'll probably put it on the POS motor I have now with the stacks and just run it on the stand and set it up and then who knows,LOL...

Art, a good friend of mine Ted Faggart, when he was running UGH used nothing but the 8 holers on his engines. Jerry Dorman, who built his engines, was a whiz at getting them things to kick ass on the hat guys.

Details Ray, I need details. May have a buyer, if if puts his money where his mouth is, or at least his credit card. It is for a Can Am boat.
Thanks Brian
