Yep it is going to need 3000 to finish it ( my A$$ ). I think it is the other way around worth 3000 and is going to need 10,000 to finish it.

Take a look at the home made rudder I love it.

Would take all of $10K to undo all "the good work" methinks.

With that home made rudder and that engine positioning, that thing will kill someone!

Ive been after one of these hulls for a couple of years ( they are a legendary hull down here in Oz), makes me sick to see one completely stuffed like this. I'm guessing that (effectively) a flatbottom/direct drive would be an evil handling bloody thing too.

Cheers

WOW! I understand being on a shoestring budget, but that's crazy!

That rudder is a classic, LOL.. Wonder what it would run like put together right though, Crackers are direct drive and run around a 100, Jersey Skiffs are direct drive also!..

I remember what my "1st" go-cart was built like.... wood box... a B & S lawnmower engine... my sister's wagon (what was left of it) my donated skate wheels...chicken wire for a "safety cage".... I always thought if you keep things out you would be safe... yes... Therefore the name, "safety cage"... I only wish I could find the pictures my Grandfather took of it.... :)
We all had a "start" sometime... :)
Interesting Hull though....
