I'm not worried about #'s and stuff. Just one that goes into the hole by the oil filter adaptor in the side of the block and tabs to the head or exhaust manifold.
Thanks, Chris

Here is a link to a site that sells them new. Second one from the top is what you are looking for I think. Click on the camera on the right and it shows a pic.

You said you didn't mind the #'s. I will look around some more and see what I can find.

Hey, the stuff hasn't been made in 30 years so if you want original new stuff you're going to pay(send your thanks to Barrett-Jackson), or hope you can scrounge the junk yard for a decent one, or hit guys like Bob(058)that hoards the $hit, bet he's got one or two sitting around!..:D

Go onto one of the ford truck forums online and look in their classifieds.
We used a chevy lokar piece,on my friends p/u Motor, turned the end to fit in the hole cut and remarked the dipstick to match the orig ( Well what was left of it)

LouisBy #'s I meant dates and such. It's not for a Pebble Beach resto. Just something to check the oil with. And yes RR, your right. Thanks Barrett Jackson for having everyone who has a car part more than 30 years old think it must be worth a small mint. I guess I shouldn't have thrown all the "extras" away over the years!

They take a beating over the years esp. the tubes. I've even resorted to welding broken dipsticks 'cause ya just can't find 'em in the junk yards anymore. 60 bucks seems like alot of money but if thats all there is I'd take it.

Art: Come the fall when you move you will be thanking your lucky stars that you gave so much stuff away over the years. I gave away alot of stuff in my last move just because I didnt want to move it myself.
