Hi To All,

Grew Up in Castro Valley Ca, Remember going to the Berkely Aquaduct to watch Drag Boats with my Grandpa then going to the Delta as a teenager.Have always Loved the Flatties! Just bought a Hull and Trailer, hoping work lets me get to Cali before the big weekend coming up to pick it up. I live west of Seattle now in a little town called Port Orchard. Will attempt to post Pictures when I get it Home. Looking forward to Your knowledge as I no Squat about Flatties other then I have always wanted one. Would like to have a mild one SBC I hope that can be done.

Welcome aboard. My v-drive fetish was solidified when my dad was stationed at Ft. Lewis near Tacoma and saw the hot boats on American and other lakes in the area. :cool:

A little small block boat could be a ton of fun. Some of the hulls are so heavy though that a small block might have to work really hard to get you moving. Is some situations a mild big block is perfect for drivability and performance. Either way let us know how it goes and don't forget to post pics when you get it.
