not really a V-Drive per-say, but...........
the new U.S.S. North Carolina came in the Wilmington this morning to be crisined (sp?). going to be done right behind to "old" North Carolina(WW2 battleship) thats open to tourist. well, watched it go by, felt proud, waved at the crew. and glad somebody can stand to get in one of those things for our country.

Up in the Portland area there is a sub called the Blue Back, got a chance to go in it and yes very close quarters, real snug. Don't know if i'd be able to be in anything like that for a lengthy amount of time, guess it would depend though.
