That is an old school flame arrestor!.. BTW, what brand of OT's you have??, they look like the ones a friend of mine made back in the day!...

they where Nicsons if i remember right Art. gave them away to, to a guy in TX. as for the flame arrester, i know some of the "rat rod" guys like them for the old school looks

Oh ok, just wondered, the Nicsons were real close to the ones my buddy made!.... Yeah, them old flame arrestors seem to be popular nowadays for old school stuff, I remember when people were throwing them away, lol..:D
