electrical tach options?????

hey art i was checking these out, what do you think of these? because i am just gonna cap the hole in the v-drive and dump the old jones gauge and go with an electrical one, any tips on how to mount it in the tube? i saw on another thread somewhere that you suggest to not mount it solid, but i think that was like a 5" tach or something if i remember correctly.

Sorry I have no idea what they are like, personally I won't use anything but Autometer for electric stuff mainly because they are trouble free, and you can't beat the customer service IF you should have a problem!. But just like any electronics vibration kills it, that's why they give you a special bracket that has a rubber mount for the tach!. I've had mine since 91 and it never missed a beat and it's still like new!...
