I want to run a elc water punp at idel only then force feed at speed. Gfinishline talked about this some time back. I am having a time finding a 12AN 1 way check vavle for the system. Any help .Thanks..............Rick...........:confused:.... .........:o

BTW, Are you sure you don't want to bring your boat to Burley, I am sure you can get Art to Drive it!

B.G.222 Boyd runs a Elc. pump in the stock in the location. I have found a 1 way vavle at M.S.C. Thanks for the input,My tow rig, WELL lets just say that I would not turst it to Burly. So maybe next year. thanks again ................Rick......... :o

I will have too ask the boss since Iam just a poor boy from Ideeeeho. I want to go baaaad ,but its the $$$$$$$$$$$$ so lets keep talking about it. I can not find a way to put a alt. in this boat and since it is set up for a mag thats the way I am going to [just more $$$ ] go. any body got a BBC Vertex for sale. This Eng in my old boat idled around 7 mph with 12s in it. any help will help, PS the boss is you know who' The wife will love to come to Burly and meet every one but will play it by day by day ............Rick....:cool:

If Boyd bails out just borrow one of his mags,LOL. I had a alt on the Bezer I had it not that big of a deal to fab something up.

As long as you're on plane it will flow water, but if you idle around a lot then you need a pump, but a plain ole simple no brainer Neovane will do the job more than adequate!..:D

Well have ever had your heart set on something and did not work, I wanted a oversize pulley on my alt. just could not get it to fit between the drive shaft gaurd mounting studs. So duuuua put the small pulley back on, 7 trips to the auto store and got a belt to go between the studs, back on the frist set up. I thougt about it and said I wont be at 5000. plus RPM all the time . so I dont need the oversize pulley anyway................:cool: Rick....................................

my boat had no magneto or alternator, the guy just ran two batteries, i had to fab up something on my own. for the lower hole i drilled a hole through the motor plate and the upper adjuster was a chrome adjusting arm from cp performance. i got the single wire gm alternator shipped to me for 75 bucks and it has a 4 year warranty. i just had to shim it out to the correct distances and i bought an aluminum single groove pulley and this weekend i need to get a belt. in this pic you can kind of see how i set it up and where it sits, however i dont know how your boat it setup. just trying to help. ;)

It took me 4 or 5 years to get over "seller's remorse". The best thing I have found to get over it is to build another flatbottom.
I started mine last fall and I feel alot better!:D
