OK before you guys start bashing me for talking about Jet Boat, Yes I know this is a V-Drive forum.

It is OFFICIAL that I will be Driving the Comp Jet 402 owned by Mark Moyle from Idaho this weekend in Parker AZ, He has asked me to drive and I feel honored to be able to do it for him. This will be my second race as I drove in the Enduro in November. Wish me luck.

So Buzz and Paul you will have to pick up the slack in the Picture department for me. I expect you guys to do a good job.

Are you familiar with Parker??, it's a 300 miler from Bluewater to Badenoch's and back 60 laps!..

Well, didn't get to see the full program today, but yesterday was pretty interesting to say the least, ole "Ditch Pump Louis" put on a pretty good show and also showed us how to do the famous "ditch pump spin out shuffle"!..:D:D

Louis, sorry we missed the show. Buzzz and I both got the flu:( so we decided not to make the trek over to the river. We were bummed, but felt missing the race was better than spending the day throwing up in the car and behind trailers all day.

I think Louis was 2nd or 3rd overall for the weekend, and I think Ralph won. The awards deal was a quick one, and my memory is , ah, well, ......What was I talking about again?...........Ray

Well I would like to say thank you to everyone Here on the boards for your support, Mentaly (this is a stretch) and Phisicaly. Also thanks to Mark Moyle for giving me the oportunity to drive his "Ditch Pump"as Art puts it. I had a great time and met a few more great people.

Saturday I had 2 heat races I finished 5th in the first and 3rd in the second.
Sunday I had 2 heats and I finished 4th in both of those, this is out of a field of 6 boats. Some how wit the DNF's of some other competitors and my finishes I managed to walk away with 2 3RD PLACE trophies for the COMP JET class for the weekend.

Over all Winners
Ralph was the winner
Dave was second
Louis Third

All together it was a great weeken and I had fun. Yes I did the "ditch pump spinnaro" but managed to keep it running and I stayd in the boat adn finished the race. The boat came back in one piece the engine still runs and we had fun. So the weekend was a total blast.

I Had plenty of time between heats to take PICS so as soon as I get them downloaded I will put some up.

That sounds really cool! Congrats.

I have to write a formal apology for Paul and I not being at the event. We are sorry, and sorry for the pictures we would have taken, but could not. We both came down with some violent stomach flu and ended up losing weight at alarming rates the night before we were to leave. We thought about going anyway, but were afraid of lack of facilities nearby to lose more weight during the event. Also thought about making a mess in Paul's new car on the way over. With the way we were the rest of Saturday, it is a good thing we did not go.
But sorry- See you all in Phoenix.
