From the looks of it you might try 5 or 6.

My 11.5x15 two blade didnt fare too well with a couple of tubers last summer. Not enough bite in the water. Trying to figure a good puller prop to try out. Just as a temporary basis. One prop for speed and another one for torque.

Well if you have an idea of a good puller prop. Let me know. The three blade doesnt has as much blade surface as my stellings two blade close to same in weight. The rake kinda worries me. Hard angle compared to the two blade.

Well, it depends on the power and gear you have but a 11 1/2x15 3 blade with a cup works good, I had a more or less stock 454 with 18's and I could pull 3 skiers no problem!..

Shouldn't be a problem, only way to find out is to try it, it may cavitate though but you can put a cup on it and that will cure that!.. But I'm wondering if it it will clear the bottom????

1.5" of room top of blade to bottom of boat on the 12.5 . I dont want to try the other three blade props I have. 12x15 bronze.

WOW, you have that much room??, you must have a real steep shaft angle then???, I had 3/8 with an 11 1/4x15 on mine!..

If the boat is original, it will be at least 10 degree with the strut beeing that low, that was the norm back then!.

Thanks for the info PALHAL. I decided to keep the two blade on. Friend wants to try the three blade on his daycruiser.
