We are sad to see that you are selling that boat. You were doing great work on it. I am sure you have your reasons. I will tell anyone that is looking about it. It sure is a nice project for sure.

Thanks Paul,

The timing isn't right at this point. Room is a huge issue. In a couple years I will find a nice running boat and go from there. I won't be leaving this site for anything. The boat will be a great project for someone. just not me right now. I contracted with Amy (Firecracker designs) for a paint design. I will provide that with the boat. It would be an incredible boat with her design on it.

That would be a great boat Eball 429. I think that it would be a much smarter project than the one he has now. Just one mans opinion...

This definitely puts things in perspective for me. I didn't pay very much for my boat, but after materials alone I couldn't catch up to this one for the same money. The only problem is that I can't justify the trip to Arizona for the boat :( I think I may pull my boat back out of the garage and turn it into a playground toy for the kids. I've got a very nice jet boat project that needs finished and maybe after it I find another V-drive. I suppose I could convert the jet boat hull to V-drive and use the ditch pump on a fire truck :D

SteveAfter my experience with my Howard, I will second that motion. Eball take what you've got, cut the whole front of the boat off at the dash, clean it, paint it. Make a frame to support your favorite mattress and have the coolest bed in town! I almost did that with an old wood Patterson but, I couldn't bring myself to cut her up. Ended up selling it to Jig Howers son for his collection. Does that name sound familiar to any of our old timers? He used to race in the Parker years ago. He's the one who came over to look at the Patterson before I hauled it over to his sons house.

We used to race against him in the seventies in the Marathon boats. Great guy.

It's always a shame to see such a great oppertunity be so far away. The price you're asking is a great deal for someone. Hopefully, someone will step up and finish the project. Looks like a great boat.

Maybe Mouzer could buy it and store it for a while. Then turn around and sell it for less. It is worth a try isn't it?:D

I hate to say this (no I don't) but life is too short for small blocks. If I could figure a way to get it up to Oregon it would be mine. :(

Larry,

There will be some folks going to Burley for the races soon. You may be able to get it towed that far and pick it up there.

The boat is a steal. I have only offered it at that price here. This is the best V-drive site with the best and most loyal V-drivers around.

There is 1K+ worth of stuff going with the hull.

Paul,

Mouzer's price would be 2500 minimum so he could take a real loss when he sells low. The boat deserves a better selling price than the 500 he would ask for it.

Why not!..:D We're going to Burley but the 35mpg $hit box won't tow a boat!..:D

Larry,
It just about 600 miles from here, Go to Bend, Burns, Ontario then to Boise and on to Burley, I drive it in about 8 1/2 hours. I will be going in June. So if you can get it there, I think I can get it here.

I will be going to Burley for the races. Depending on what happens I might be able to tow it up to you. I know I can get it to Burley, and might even be able to get it to Oregon. It all depends on if one of my friend goes with me or not. If I can bring it I will work out the details with you later. I will try and find out if my buddy is going or not and what his time frame is.

Louis.
