For the prevention of the invasive quagga and zebra mussels. Has anyone heard about it? New to me. Just saw it on the front page of our local paper.

They already inspect boat and trailer on the way back in to Cali from AZ.
Not a big deal.

From what i have read here, inspections will be done at all lakes and waterways in Calif.

Yeah, they been doing that for a year now, it's not our type boats that's the problem, it's those big ass ugly scows that sit in the water a lot and have deep bilges that are hidden, and don't get drained or cleaned when taken out of the water!.. I've always got waved by with the flat!..

They made open the enclosed trailer and inspected my K boat the other day. Glad they didn't see the 100 gallons of Alky in the front of the trailer...:)

Lake County now has message boards at the county lines with a phone number to pick up a sticker for boating. Started April 8.
